Choose a course distance, collect playing cards at designated stops around the northeastern part of Flathead Lake, and see if your poker hand wins! Join us after the paddle for a picnic lunch at Brookside Yard and live music by Mike Murray.

General registration ends on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Registration after August 4 is $45 and does not include picnic lunch. Same day registration is available. There will be a food truck will be on site and there are many lovely lunch options in Bigfork.

Human propelled watercraft start from the Bigfork community dock and paddle a short, middle, or EXTENDED DISTANCE (5+ miles) course to designated stops in the beautiful northeastern part of Flathead Lake, collecting one playing card at each location. This is not a race, as players are building the best poker hands.

* Prizes are awarded for best/worst poker hands.
* Each player receives a commemorative gift.
* Picnic after-party with music by Mike Murray.
* Silent auction.
* Early Bird Discount ($10 off) before July 7.

Proceeds benefit the Flathead Lakers education programs and community work to prevent the spread of invasive mussels, promote clean water practices, and inspire future watershed citizens and the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce Fourth of July festivities.


RULES AND TERMINOLOGY
Type of watercraft to be used (kayak, canoe, paddle board, etc.). Pre-qualified swimmers may participate and must supply their own kayak support. Vessels must be "sea worthy" and are subject to approval by the event director.

Player's Hand: Each participant collects a playing card at each stop to build the best possible poker hand. Players receive a tournament gift, picnic dinner, and an invitation to the after-party.
