Flathead Lakers Sustaining Membership

Your monthly sustaining gift helps to support the Flathead Lakers education programs and community work to prevent the spread of invasive mussels, promote clean water practices, and inspire future watershed citizens. Here are a few examples:

  • $5 a month provides our Becoming Watershed Citizens student education program with supplies and equipment, like watercolor paints and brushes, insect guides, and collecting equipment. Over the past 20 years, our program has provided over 5,000 local students hands-on watershed education experiences.
  • $10 a month allows us to plant a dozen trees to restore buffers along rivers and lakes that help improve water quality, provide habitat for fish and wildlife, sustain groundwater levels, and help stop or prevent erosion.
  • $15 a month supports two citizen science monitoring sites on Flathead Lake. These sites will help Bio. Station researchers learn more about Flathead Lake to keep a finger on the pulse of the health of Flathead Lake.

Thank you!
